Degree in Science of Animal Production from Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.

Licensed to practice as a Doctor of Agriculture and Doctor of Forestry.  

Main research interests

• Identification of domestic and wild cardoon genotypes for the production of oil with a high oleic acid content.
• Evaluation of thistle seed by-products for animal feed.
• Evaluation of germplasm to obtain inulin with a high degree of polymerisation in a Mediterranean environment.
• Improvement of shelf life in preserved artichoke hearts.
