1. biometereology and ecophysiology, applied to the knowledge of the mechanisms that regulate the productivity of agricultural and forestry systems and the exchange of matter and energy between the earth's surface and the atmosphere on a local and territorial scale;
2. to soil ecology for the study of biogenic production processes of the main greenhouse gases.
