Biomass Laboratory

The following activities are mainly carried out there: characterisation of biomasses of agricultural origin, composting trials and research into aerobic biodegradation; elemental analysis and physico-chemical characterisation of matrices; composters for the study of aerobic maturation processes and the analysis of main emissions; ultimate biodegradation of materials (e.g. bioplastics).
