Laboratory for the Biochemical Characterisation of Olives and Oils A preparatory section is equipped with chemical fume hoods, safety cabinet, freezers, stove and muffle, Rotavapor system, ultrasonic system, centrifuges, pH meter, Ultraturax; a section of the laboratory is dedicated to instrumental chemistry with Spectrophotometer, Metrohm System, Ultracentrifuge, Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography Systems.
Biomass Laboratory The following activities are mainly carried out here: characterisation of biomass of agricultural origin, composting trials and research into aerobic biodegradation; elemental analysis and physico-chemical characterisation of matrices; composters for the study of aerobic maturation processes and the analysis of the main emissions; ultimate biodegradation of materials (e.g.
