Research experience:
- Research fellow in the ABC - Agrobiodiversity Campania project concerning the multiplication, conservation and characterisation of native herbaceous plant genetic resources in the Campania Region.
Laboratory/field activities:
- Chemical and biological sampling and analysis of soil samples using volumetric titration techniques for the determination of organic carbon and organic nitrogen; quantification of enzyme activities using the spectrophotometer UV-Visible Shimadzu Scientific Instruments UV-1800; measurement of pH using the Eutech Instruments pH meter 2700 and electrical conductivity using the Hanna Instruments Italia HI 9811-5 conductivity meter. Use of the gas chromatograph Agilent Technologies 6850 to study the catabolic response profile of the microbial community compared to the Biolog EcoPlateTM system using the microplate reader Microplate Manager 5 from Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc.
