Possession of a Master's Degree in Biology, experimental thesis in Ecology entitled: “Conversion of a Chestnut Wood into a Crop in the Cilento, Vallo Diano and Alburni National Park: Effects on the Chemical-Physical and Biological Properties of the Soil”.
- Ecophysiology studies on tree and herbaceous plants subjected to various mulch treatments to verify their effects on the soil-plant system: evaluation of water content and temperature by continuous acquisition systems using probes; measurement of chlorophyll content and photosynthetic efficiency by fluorimetry; measurement of stomatal conductance.
- Chemical and biological sampling and analysis of soil samples using volumetric titration techniques for the determination of organic carbon and organic nitrogen; quantification of enzyme activities using UV-Visible spectrophotometry; study of the catabolic response profile of the microbial community using gas chromatography. Analysis of spectral signatures of soil samples using FT-IR.
- Search for microplastics in soil samples by extraction with densitometric method and vacuum filtration.
