  • After graduating in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Perugia, he carried out research activities for about two years, including a long period in the United States.
  • For over 20 years, he has been involved in the promotion, organisation and management of research, development and innovation dissemination activities, first in the agri-food and environmental sector and, later, in the sector of technologies applied to Cultural and Environmental Heritage. The activity has been carried out through the experiences as President of the cooperative society of young researchers 'ARS-Agenzia per la Ricerca e lo Sviluppo', then as Head of the 'Innovation and Research' and 'Training' Areas of the Company 3 A-Parco Tecnologico Agroalimentare dell'Umbria and, finally, as Project Manager of one of the Regional Competence Centres of the Campania Region, the CRdC 'Sviluppo e Trasferimento dell'Innovazione Applicata ai Beni Culturali e Ambientali - INNOVA' whose Lead Organisation is the National Research Council. In the course of these experiences, he has gained expertise in the management and coordination of complex projects and multidisciplinary research groups belonging to different organisations.
  • He has participated in numerous international missions for the exploitation of research results.
  • For a number of years, she was involved in international cooperation with developing countries mainly through the organisation and management of training activities aimed at: 'Designers of environmentally sustainable development interventions'.
  • Since January 2012, she has been working at the Perugia office of the Institute for Mediterranean Agricultural and Forestry Systems - ISAFoM where she is responsible, among other things, for coordinating a collaborative project with a transnational partnership funded by the EU under the Seventh Framework Programme entitled "Liquid and Gas Fischer Tropsch Fuel Production From Olive Industry Waste-Fuel From Waste and for coordinating a Marie Sklodowska -CURIE project funded under Horizon 2020 entitled "Bioresources for Oliviculture-BeFOre".
