Piero Calderaro e il dott. Giuseppe Puglia, coinvolti nella valorizzazione delle attivit\u00e0 dell\u2019Istituto legate al patrimonio olivicolo e alla conoscenza delle cultivar siciliane.<br \/><br \/>\ud83d\udd2c Il programma ha previsto una degustazione guidata dell\u2019olio EVO, con approfondimenti sulle caratteristiche sensoriali del prodotto, e una visita al campo collezione di 52 cultivar siciliane di olivo, realizzato dal CNR-ISAFOM presso l\u2019azienda agricola dell\u2019Istituto Tecnico Agrario F. Eredia di Catania.<br \/><br \/>Un\u2019esperienza che ha permesso di avvicinare i partecipanti ai temi della biodiversit\u00e0 olivicola, della qualit\u00e0 delle produzioni e dell\u2019importanza della conoscenza scientifica per la valorizzazione delle risorse agricole locali.<br \/><br \/>\ud83e\udd1d L\u2019iniziativa testimonia il valore della collaborazione tra ricerca scientifica, istituzioni scolastiche e realt\u00e0 del settore olivicolo, favorendo la condivisione delle conoscenze e la diffusione della cultura della qualit\u00e0 e della sostenibilit\u00e0.<br \/><br \/>Il recentemente rivalutata in molti Paesi per la sua multifunzionalit\u00e0 e sostenibilit\u00e0, trovando impiego in diversi settori produttivi, tra cui alimentare, edile, tessile e cosmetico. Tuttavia, i semi di questa specie presentano diverse problematiche critiche, quali la scarsa germinabilit\u00e0, che ostacolano lo sviluppo di una filiera di produzione di semente di qualit\u00e0, redditizia ed eco-sostenibile. Lo scopo di questo lavoro \u00e8 stato quello di esplorare il ruolo della struttura interna del seme sulla germinazione della canapa mediante microtomografia a raggi X e analisi discriminante multivariata. <br \/><br \/>Nel complesso, la caratterizzazione morfometrica tridimensionale della struttura interna del seme di canapa ha permesso di individuare i tratti fenotipici pi\u00f9 suolo che regolano il funzionamento e l\u2019adattamento degli ecosistemi agrari e forestali in scenari di cambiamento climatico.<\/li>\n<li>Studio, conservazione e caratterizzazione del germoplasma vegetale per la stabilit\u00e0 produttiva e la sostenibilit\u00e0 degli ecosistemi agrari e forestali.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sviluppo di strategie e modelli per la sostenibilit\u00e0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Sviluppo di strategie di agricoltura sostenibile orientate a: ottimizzazione degli input (acqua, nutrienti, agrofarmaci), riduzione dell\u2019impronta ambientale ed emissioni, miglioramento della qualit\u00e0 e stabilit\u00e0 delle produzioni, incremento della resilienza ai cambiamenti climatici ed efficientamento nell\u2019uso delle risorse.<\/li>\n<li>Sviluppo di modelli di processo, previsionali e di Intelligenza Artificiale del sistema suolopianta-atmosfera per la gestione sostenibile dei sistemi agricoli e forestali, integrando dati multi-sorgente e operando a scala di laboratorio, campo e territoriale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tecnologie digitali e innovazione<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Sviluppo e applicazione di metodiche per l\u2019agricoltura e le foreste di precisione basate su proximal e remote sensing multi-scala, imaging per la fenotipizzazione di laboratorio e di campo, sensoristica IoT e sistemi di IA per il monitoraggio e la gestione sito-specifica.<\/li>\n<li>Sviluppo di tecnologie digitali avanzate per il supporto alle decisioni (DSS, DSS geospaziali, Digital Twins) a
