It has established experience in the preparation and use of measurement equipment for biometeorology applications aimed at studies of crops, forests and anthropogenic systems.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">The activity is carried out in a main laboratory for electronics and IOT applications. The experimental equipment is assembled and tested in the laboratory, then fine-tuned and deployed in the open field.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Experimental investigations mainly concern the detection of environmental concentrations of gaseous compounds and the subsequent determination of mass and energy exchange from vegetated surfaces.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">The species measured are greenhouse gases (CO<sub>2,<\/sub>\u00a0CH<sub>4<\/sub>, N<sub>2<\/sub>O), reactive (NH<sub>3<\/sub>, NOx, O<sub>3<\/sub>), pollutants (COS, CO, dust) and volatile organic compounds (VOC).<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Measurement techniques can be traced back to infrared, laser and mass spectrometry - closed cell and open path.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">State-of-the-art automatic chamber systems are used for ground exchanges.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">The calculation of emission or absorption fluxes is based on micrometeorological approaches -
