digital acquisition of the relevant microscopic fields for subsequent image analysis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Instrumentation:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Photomacroscope with transmitted light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Polarising photomacroscope with transmitted light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Incident light illuminator for fibre-optic photomacroscopes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Incident light optical microscope.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Multi-objective trinocular polarising microscope (Jenapol) with transmitted and incident light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Inverted microscope<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Stereo-microscope with illuminator<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 2 Variable length support arms for Stereo-Microscope or Photomacroscope<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 2 optical tables, one medium-sized and the other large<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Passive anti-vibration table<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 LAMAS (Large Area Micrograph Automated System) developed at CNR-ISAFOM, with incident and transmitted light, consisting of a motorised table, Prior control unit and hardware interface for acquisition automation with digital cameras.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0- Video clip operation LAMAS - https:\/\/youtu.be\/Hq-BpIjVWWI<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 2 Nikon SLR digital cameras (D200 and D300s).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 1 Variable-height bench stand for photographic acquisitions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">No. 3 UV lamps with articulated arms for a stand.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Microscopy Laboratory staff\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Dr. Laura Gargiul<\/em>o, a researcher with expertise in image acquisition and image analysis processing.<\/p>\n<p><em>Dr. Giacomo Mele<\/em>, scientific coordinator.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microscopy Laboratory (L0.04)Head and Person in Charge: Laura Gargiulo The following activities are mainly carried out here: optical microscopy investigations for the characterisation of plant tissues and natural and artificial porous materials;
