{"id":1302,"date":"2021-05-20T19:36:19","date_gmt":"2021-05-20T17:36:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isafom.cnr.it\/forest-modelling-lab-2\/"},"modified":"2025-03-28T12:33:11","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T11:33:11","slug":"forest-modelling-lab-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/isafom.cnr.it\/en\/forest-modelling-lab-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Forest Modelling Lab."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible: Dr. Alessio Collalti, Perugia office (PG): alessio.collalti @ cnr.it<\/p>\n<p>The Forest Modelling Laboratory (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forest-modelling-lab.com\">www.forest-modelling-lab.com<\/a>) is a research laboratory of the Institute for Agricultural and Forestry Systems in the Mediterranean at the National Research Council of Italy (ISAFOM-CNR) that specifically:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>studies and analyses the quantitative and qualitative representation of the interactions underlying the productivity, resistance and resilience to perturbations of forest ecosystems and their responses to ecological and climate forcing;<\/li>\n<li>develops, parameterizes, validates and uses empirical and\/or process-based simulation models both to deepen understanding of the processes underlying the functioning of the forest ecosystems, which to evaluate their response to the current climate as well as the impacts of future climate change scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>In addition, the Forest Modelling Laboratory studies the response of forests to current and alternative\/adaptive management scenarios through modelling approaches according to defined protocols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Due to its characteristics, the Forest Modelling Laboratory is open to modeling collaborations with other CNR Institutes, other Research bodies and Universities, both Italian and foreign.<\/p>\n<p>Despite laboratory members are scattered all around the world the Laboratory has formally its base at the Institute for Agriculture and Forestry Systems in the Mediterranean (ISAFOM-CNR) location in Perugia (PG), Italy.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible: Dr. Alessio Collalti, Perugia (PG) office: alessio.<\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":35,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1302","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry","category-senza-categoria"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
